ABOUT


Born in the Czech Republic in 2000, Michal is a graduate of the Dance Center Prague – Conservatory and Grammar School. During his time there, he participated in school companies, Baby Ballet Prague (BBP) under the direction of Agurtzane Pérez Olóriz and Ballet Prague Junior (BPJ), led by Viktor and Linda Svidró.

While a member of BPJ, Michal achieved notable recognition as a choreographer, receiving the Jury Prize at the Student Thalia Awards in 2018. Additionally, in 2017, he proudly represented the Czech Republic in the final of the Eurovision Young Dancers television broadcast.

Throughout his studies, Michal also gained professional experience as a guest dancer with the Prague Chamber Ballet.

In September 2019, he was accepted into Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company 2, and subsequently joined the main company in December 2019 under the leadership of world-renowned director and choreographer Rami Be'er.

In forging his own artistic voice, Michal successfully engages in choreography, photography, and videography while also teaching as a floor-work company teacher and leading masterclasses of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company repertoire abroad.
